Our Story
How SkillBridge came to be
SkillBridge was founded in 2023 by a team of entrepreneurs who recognized a significant gap in the service economy. They noticed that many talented service providers from Brazilian, Hispanic, and other immigrant communities were struggling to find work due to language barriers.
At the same time, clients were having difficulty finding reliable service providers for their needs. Our founders saw an opportunity to connect these two groups through technology, breaking down language barriers and creating value for everyone.
What started as a simple idea has grown into a platform that serves thousands of service providers and clients across the United States. We’ve built a technology solution that enables real-time translation, secure payments via Stripe, and a reputation system that helps the best service providers stand out.
Today, SkillBridge is helping thousands of service providers grow their businesses while connecting clients with the skilled professionals they need. We’re proud of the diverse and vibrant community we’ve built, and we’re just getting started..
