TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE
SKILLBRIDGE APP INC

SKILLBRIDGE APP INC is a platform that provides a virtual environment connecting Clients who wish to hire services with Providers who offer such services, allowing: (a) search for available services; (b) scheduling of services; (c) payment intermediation; (d) communication between Client and Provider. The Platform is not a supplier of the advertised services, acting only as a technological and payment intermediary, and is not responsible for the performance, quality, safety, or outcome of the contracted services.
As a condition for accessing and using SKILLBRIDGE’s exclusive features, the USER declares that they have fully and carefully read these rules and the Privacy Policy, being fully aware and expressly agreeing with the terms established herein.
If you do not agree with these rules, the USER must discontinue access.
1. DEFINITIONS
For proper understanding and interpretation of the rights and obligations set forth herein, the following definitions shall apply:
PLATFORM: computer program (software) developed by SKILLBRIDGE APP INC, accessible through downloading the application from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
USER: individual over 18 years old who downloads the application and registers on the platform, either as a Provider or Client.
PROVIDER: individual or legal entity registered on the platform offering professional services.
CLIENT: individual registered on the platform to hire professional services.
2. REGISTRATION AND ACCOUNT CREATION
2.1 The SKILLBRIDGE app must be installed via Apple Store or Google Play Store, with recurring payments charged to the registered credit card. SKILLBRIDGE reserves the right to authorize free downloads of the app for a limited period.
2.2 To use the PLATFORM’s features, the USER must register by filling in the required fields, providing first name, last name, email, and creating a password.
2.3 Login will be made through the registered email and password.
2.4 Only individuals over 18 years old may register as USERS.
2.5 When registering as PROVIDER or CLIENT, the USER must also provide nationality, date of birth, gender, address, email, and phone number.
2.6 By registering, the USER agrees to share personal data with the PLATFORM to use its features (Privacy Policy – hyperlink).
2.7 USER’s login credentials are personal and non-transferable. USER is responsible for keeping them confidential.
2.8 By registering, the USER confirms the information provided is true and relates to their identity.
2.9 The USER may register a legal entity as PROVIDER, provided they are a partner of the company.
2.10 The PLATFORM may adopt verification methods to confirm the accuracy and legality of the registered data.
2.11 The PROVIDER must indicate the type of service offered, select a category or insert description in “other”, as well as set hourly rate and availability.
2.12 To ensure security, legality, and integrity of the PLATFORM, it is forbidden to offer, request, or perform services that:
a) Are illegal or violate applicable laws/regulations in the U.S. or where the service is performed;
b) Involve sexual activities or escort services, consensual or not, for adults or minors;
c) Pose risks to physical, moral, or personal safety, including unauthorized transportation, unlicensed medical/dental services, handling hazardous substances, or any activity requiring licensing without proof;
d) Relate to illegal products/substances, including drugs, weapons, ammunition, explosives, or other controlled items;
e) Are discriminatory, abusive, or offensive, including hate speech, harassment, or exploitation;
f) Involve unauthorized gambling or betting;
g) Infringe third-party rights (copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets).
3. HOW THE SERVICE WORKS
3.1 The CLIENT may search for services by category, select the PROVIDER, and schedule date and time as per availability.
3.2 By scheduling, the CLIENT agrees to pay the amount set by the PROVIDER.
3.3 To use the PLATFORM, the CLIENT must register a payment method (credit card or others). The PROVIDER must register a bank account under their name to receive payments.
3.4 Payment will be processed using the CLIENT’s registered method.
3.5 On the scheduled date, the PROVIDER must attend the location and perform the service.
3.6 After completion, the PROVIDER must mark the service as “completed” on the PLATFORM, triggering automatic charge to the CLIENT.
3.7 CLIENT and PROVIDER may exchange messages about service execution (delays, technical requirements, etc.) without PLATFORM’s intervention.
4. SERVICE DISPUTES
4.1 The CLIENT may report any unsatisfactory service through the PLATFORM within 24 hours after completion.
4.2 SKILLBRIDGE will internally review the case and may request documents, photos, or additional information from both parties.
4.3 Resolution will follow SKILLBRIDGE’s internal policies, which may decide on partial/full refund to the CLIENT or uphold PROVIDER’s payment.
5. PAYMENT POLICY
5.1 The PLATFORM will pre-authorize the CLIENT’s credit card when a service is scheduled. The actual charge occurs when the PROVIDER confirms completion.
5.2 The amount charged from the CLIENT will be credited to the PROVIDER’s digital wallet on the PLATFORM, available for transfer to their bank account, subject to administration and intermediation fees.
5.3 Amounts will be available in the PROVIDER’s bank account within 24 hours.
5.4 The PLATFORM will not hold PROVIDER’s funds for more than 30 days, automatically transferring them when this period is reached.
5.5 The PLATFORM is not responsible for bank fees, taxes, or other obligations owed by PROVIDER or CLIENT.
6. RESPONSIBILITIES
6.1 CLIENT must provide correct information for service execution (address, date, time, specific needs).
6.2 CLIENT must check the PROVIDER’s reputation and qualifications on the PLATFORM before hiring.
6.3 PROVIDER is solely responsible for service quality, safety, and compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements.
6.4 SKILLBRIDGE does not guarantee service results, acting only as a technological intermediary.
6.5 SKILLBRIDGE is not liable for:
- Internet or server failures;
- Damages, losses, or injuries arising from service execution or non-performance;
- Delays, cancellations, or failures attributable to CLIENT or PROVIDER;
- Personal injuries, accidents, or damages from services;
- Financial losses, theft, or fraud by CLIENT or PROVIDER;
- Disputes or litigation between CLIENT and PROVIDER;
- User-generated content;
- Force majeure events.
6.6 USERS must communicate respectfully and courteously when using the PLATFORM.
7. ACCOUNT TERMINATION
7.1 CLIENT or PROVIDER may be removed for:
- Violating Terms of Use;
- Rating below 4.6;
- Abusive, offensive, or discriminatory content.
7.2 To suspend or cancel use, USER must cancel recurring payment via Apple Store or Google Play Store.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
8.1 All rights relating to the PLATFORM and its features belong to SKILLBRIDGE APP INC, including intellectual property rights over texts, images, graphics, trademarks, layouts, codes, databases, and other content developed directly or indirectly.
8.2 Any unauthorized use of content or trademarks displayed on the PLATFORM is strictly prohibited.
8.3 The “SKILLBRIDGE” trademark and any similar variations are exclusive property of SKILLBRIDGE APP INC. All platform content is protected by intellectual property laws and international treaties.
8.4 By using the PLATFORM, USERS agree to respect SKILLBRIDGE’s intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, software, trademarks, patents, domain names, and designs, as well as third-party rights.
9. AMENDMENTS
9.1 SKILLBRIDGE may modify these Terms at any time by publishing a new version in the app, effective immediately.
9.2 If the USER disagrees, they may cancel their subscription as per section 7.2.
10. GENERAL PROVISIONS
10.1 The PLATFORM reserves the right to remove abusive, offensive, or discriminatory content.
10.2 Payments are processed via STRIPE INC. The PLATFORM does not store USERS’ banking or card details. Payment history is managed by STRIPE INC.
10.3 The PLATFORM servers are hosted by Amazon AWS, which does not guarantee 100% uptime. SKILLBRIDGE shall not be held liable for issues caused by AWS service failures.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
11.1 These Terms of Use shall be governed, interpreted, and enforced according to the laws of the State of Florida, USA, regardless of conflict of laws.
