Our goal is to use technology to safely, affordably, and reliably connect talent with opportunities—promoting dignified work, income generation, and inclusion. That’s why it works simply and intuitively. Check out the step-by-step guide on how it works:

1. New account/login

After you download the app from your preferred app store, you will see a login screen where you can sign up or log in:

Open the SkillBridge app.
Tap “Register” to create a new account.
Log in with your email and password.
Sign in with Google or Facebook.

Important: you can create your profile in your native language. SkillBridge removes language barriers, helping you find clients and grow your business regardless of your English proficiency

2. Search

Open the app and go to the home screen.
Tap on the search bar or the magnifying glass icon in the bottom menu.
Type in keywords for what you want to find.
Use the “Projects” and “People” buttons to choose what you’re looking for.
Use the filters to refine your search.

3. Apply

From the search results, tap on a project card to see more details.
View the project details and the necessary requirements.
Tap the “Apply” button at the bottom.
Fill out the form with the required information.
Tap “Apply” to submit your application to the client.

4. Digital wallet and payments

Always keep your bank or payment information updated through your digital wallet or in your profile settings. The first time you log in, you’ll need to fill out this information to enable you to apply for or post job proposals:

Tap “Wallet” in the top navigation menu.
View your balance information.
Tap “Withdraw” to transfer available funds to your bank account.
Tap “History” to view your transaction history.
Tap “Invoices” to view your invoices.

5. Payments and receipts

Add your bank information and view the service fees so you can apply for job opportunities.
Add a payment method and view the service fees so you can post your own work proposals.

Important: SkillBridge uses Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor, to ensure your financial information is always protected. Your credit card details are never stored on our servers and are securely handled by Stripe. Our payment processing adheres to international security standards and regulations.

6. Project dashboard

Use the projects dashboard to organize and track the progress of your jobs with the status carousel:

Open: projects awaiting a response from you or the client.
In progress: these are “closed deals” with a scheduled start date.
Finished: all projects that have been completed or canceled.
All: a complete list of all your projects, regardless of status.
